SALES FUNNEL & SALES TREE CONCEPTS AS SUSTAINABLE STRATEGIES FOR GROWTH AND PROFITABILITY FOR SME

Lagos, November 7th, 2015 – Customer Passion Point Limited (CPPL) successfully held the October edition of its monthly training program on Friday, October 30th. Themed “Business Strategies for Growth and Profitability,” this session marks the 15th edition of a program that began as a pilot in July 2014. The latest session saw participants from various sectors of the economy, who experienced insightful and impactful learning, according to Ikechukwu Kalu, the lead facilitator.

Kalu emphasized that the program goes beyond mere training for business owners and their core staff; it focuses on improving performance, increasing sales, and ensuring better returns for stakeholders.

Christopher Anunobi Marshall, a past participant, shared his positive experience: “What an awesome pleasure to be a part of the last CPPL training. I have already been applying the insights gained and have secured three presentations for my company.” Kalu explains, “The program’s design ensures participants start implementing their learnings immediately after the session.”

The program’s approach includes practical hands-on training through Simulation Techniques. According to Kalu, this method encourages dialogue between instructors and participants, as well as among the participants themselves. Education becomes a collaborative dialogue, fostering a richer learning environment.

A key highlight of the October edition was an intense discussion on growing sales by keeping the Sales Funnel flowing and the Sales Tree growing as sustainable strategies for growth and profitability. Olatunji Ope, a veteran salesman and trainer, led this session. He explained, “The Sales Funnel allows salespeople to qualify prospects, engage with them, sell to them, and build a solid prospect bank that ensures a continuous source of sales orders.”

Ope further elaborated on the Sales Tree Concept, which encourages salespeople to develop relationships with their customers, treating each customer like a seed that, with care and attention, grows into a fruitful prospect bank.

Kalu concluded by announcing the November edition, which will be the 16th and final session for 2015, scheduled for November 27th. This edition promises to be exceptional, focusing on how participants can end the year well and start 2016 on a strong note with a comprehensive marketing plan. Interested participants are encouraged to register online at www.cppl.com.ng/register as seats are limited to 25 participants.
